Private browser-side processing
FrameFlow opens the selected file with a temporary browser object URL and draws frames to a canvas at the chosen timestamps. The local video content is not sent to the Instagram extraction API.
Generated frames remain in the current page session until you start a new extraction, replace the source or close the page.
Choose useful extraction settings
Use a 0.5 or 1-second interval for fast action, 2 seconds for short ordinary clips, and 5 or 10 seconds for longer videos or first-pass storyboards.
Choose PNG for crisp text and graphics, JPEG for smaller photographic frames, or WebP for compact web-ready images. Full HD respects the source and cannot recreate detail missing from a low-resolution video.
Browser compatibility and limits
MP4 with H.264 video is the safest choice across modern browsers. Files using unusual containers or codecs may need conversion in a trusted desktop application first.
FrameFlow limits file size, generated frame count and browser memory use. For long videos, begin with a wider interval and download only the frames you need.
