What happens after you submit a link
The browser sends the public Instagram URL and a bot-verification token to the FrameFlow API. The API validates the host, applies rate and capacity limits, and attempts to retrieve a compatible public video.
A successful request creates a protected job with a short-lived access token. The resulting MP4 is not added to a public library, search page, or permanent user account.
What “public and compatible” means
The source must be an Instagram post or Reel that is publicly accessible to the retrieval service and contains a video format the pipeline can process. A link may be public in your logged-in browser but unavailable to an unauthenticated service.
FrameFlow does not request Instagram passwords, browser cookies, session tokens, or private-account access. It does not bypass login, age, geographic, or technical restrictions.
Why a public link can still fail
The post may have been removed, changed to private, restricted by region or age, or delivered in a format the current pipeline cannot retrieve. Instagram can also change its delivery behaviour or temporarily rate-limit requests.
A capacity, file-size, duration, or processing-time limit may stop a job to protect the service. The displayed error should be treated as the current result rather than a reason to submit credentials or repeatedly automate requests.
Need images instead?
Open Instagram Video to Images when you need PNG, JPEG or WebP frames. Keeping this as a separate workflow makes the downloader faster and reduces unnecessary processing.
FrameFlow supports compatible public Instagram video URLs. It does not bypass private accounts, login requirements, age gates or platform access controls.
